Alexandre Kaspar graduated from the University of Geneva with a degree in Art History, specializing in the History and Theory of Art and Architecture. He later completed professional training in Cultural Project Management (Artos) and earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Art Collection Management from the HEG Geneva.
Alongside his academic background, he developed and co-founded several independent cultural initiatives dedicated to contemporary creation, cultural mediation, and public engagement. These projects led to collaborations across the Swiss cultural landscape and provided a strong foundation in exhibition-making, audience development, and interdisciplinary artistic practices.
His professional experience spans both the institutional and independent sectors, where he has worked in cultural communication, audience development, curatorial projects, and audiovisual production. Through these roles, he has cultivated a broad understanding of the contemporary art ecosystem, from artistic production and exhibition management to public outreach and collector relations.
Since 2022, Alexandre Kaspar has been part of Laurent Marthaler Contemporary in Montreux, where he works closely with internationally established and emerging artists. His practice focuses on exhibition development, artist representation, client relations, and the promotion of contemporary art through gallery exhibitions, art fairs, and special projects.
