Pierre-Alain Münger, New and Early Works
Laurent Marthaler Contemporary a le plaisir de présenter New and Early Works, une exposition consacrée à Pierre-Alain Münger à O Fobour, à Martigny.
 
Installée dans ce lieu singulier au cœur du Valais, l’exposition réunit des œuvres récentes ainsi qu’une sélection de pièces historiques permettant de retracer l’évolution de la pratique de l’artiste suisse au cours des deux dernières décennies.
 
À travers l’impact, la compression et la déformation, Pierre-Alain Münger transforme la matière et révèle la beauté inattendue du choc. Détournant des éléments issus notamment de l’univers industriel et automobile, il développe un langage artistique où énergie, mouvement et transformation occupent une place centrale.
 
Présentée dans le cadre du projet spécial Gault & Millau Experience, cette exposition invite le public à découvrir ou redécouvrir l’univers d’un artiste dont le travail se situe à la frontière entre sculpture, expérimentation et métamorphose.

Laurent Marthaler Contemporary is pleased to present New and Early Works, an exhibition dedicated to Pierre-Alain Münger at O Fobour in Martigny.
 
Set within this unique venue in the heart of the Valais region, the exhibition brings together recent works and a selection of earlier pieces, offering an overview of the evolution of the Swiss artist’s practice over the past two decades.
 
Through impact, compression, and deformation, Pierre-Alain Münger transforms matter and reveals the unexpected beauty of collision. Repurposing elements drawn from industrial and automotive environments, he has developed a distinctive artistic language centered on energy, movement, and transformation.
 
Presented as part of the Gault & Millau Experience special project, the exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to discover or rediscover the work of an artist whose practice stands at the intersection of sculpture, experimentation, and metamorphosis.
